Position Details

• A Concrete Finisher will be responsible for forming, placing, finishing concrete, and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen
• Set forms; pour, smooth and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc. using hand/powered floats, hand/powered trowels, and other equipment
• Bolt, nail, align and block under forms
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using shovel
• Follow directions and instructions from supervisors
• Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require
• Work within defined standards of accuracy
• Competitive wages based on experience
• 40+ hours per week during spring/summer/fall

Required Skills/Abilities

• 2+ years of experience working with concrete
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form
• Willingness to understand and accept safety standards
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions
• Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities 
• Willingness to work hard and be reliable
• Must maintain flexibility in the schedule during the busy season

Wage
$25.00 to $30.00/hr
